YELLOW, a 501c3 nonprofit founded by Pharrell Williams, is on a mission to even the odds through education with five main priorities: Abolish Remedial, Revolutionize Teaching, Nourish Youth, Inspire Entrepreneurship, and Enlist Communities. The first of the YELLOWHab micro-schools was planted in Norfolk, Virginia, serving 4th-7th graders by giving them immersive, hands-on learning experiences that are centered around them- encouraging curiosity, exploration, creativity and possibility.
