ViBe Creative District is a 501c3 founded by local visionaries who saw the possibility of a revived economic vibrancy and energy at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Business owners, city officials, and artists came together to make that vision reality. The organization works promote, support, connect, and inspire the arts and creative industries to boost the local economy, grow jobs, and enhance quality of life. The ViBe is home to several businesses, creative ventures, artists, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, museums, and more- showing the strong connection between cultural and economic vitality.

Since the ViBe's formation, it has been a major force in bringing creativity and culture to the (literal) forefront of the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Core to its mission, the ViBe Creative District engages in programming and projects to further its impact on culture - embracing the creative talent within and in connection with the community; on economic growth - boosting the local economy by attracting visitors to the District, supporting local businesses, and creating job opportunities; and on community engagement - welcoming and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to enhance their sense of quality of life.
